Gray Zone
Protection in the hybrid zone
For me, hybrid is where state and non-state actors intersect, often with deniability, so that “ordinary” crime, activism or online noise can serve strategic aims.
The gray zone is competition below open war, blending coercion, influence, cyber, proxies, and ambiguity. It creates uncertainty, contested narratives, and delayed decision cycles. This hub focuses on practical effects: weak signals, attribution fog, and how hybrid pressure changes the protective environment.
